To help residents stay cool, Boston Centers for Youth & Families cooling centers will be open Sunday through Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Heat information Sunday, June 6 Reopening in Boston The City of Boston will align with the state's reopening plan, with all remaining COVID-19 restrictions being lifted effective May 29. Status of City departments City Hall is only open to the public on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. If you need to visit City Hall, you must make an appointment. State reopening guidance All remaining COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted in the state effective May 29. The state's face covering order will also be rescinded on May 29. Governor Baker will end the State of Emergency on June 15. COVID-19 vaccine information The COVID-19 vaccine is an important tool to keep our communities safe. Tow lot The tow lot is only open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. Automated kiosks are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for vehicle releases.
